Royal Kolinsky Elite is the ultimate Kolinsky sable artist brush. A favorite of watercolorists it is also a popular brush of artists working in heavier mediums. It is made from the finest quality Kolinsky Sable hair featuring the best conic hair shape available. Kolinsky Elite brushes are characterized by fine, long points and thick bellies. These highly-resilient brushes can pick up and spread the thickest paints. The fine Kolinsky Sable is mounted into a gold plated brass ferrule attached to a deep blue acrylic handle with a scraper end. The acrylic handles allow the brush to soak in water without the problematic swelling, cracking and chipping of wooden handled brushes.
