BK687 - Royal & Langnickel Big Kid's Choice Chubby Round & Flat Natural Bristle Brush Set

The Royal & Langnickel Big Kid's Choice™ Chubby Round & Flat Artist Brush Set (BK687) provides a complete, multi-shape painting assortment designed for maximum control and ease of use. Featuring a balanced combination of chunky round detail brushes and broad flat wash brushes crafted with durable natural white hog bristle, this set gives artists the freedom to sketch, outline, and lay down broad color washes in one convenient collection.

Not only for kids: While designed with chunky handles that small hands can easily grasp with a fist grip, these brushes are equally invaluable for adult painters, senior care centers, and adaptive art therapy programs. The thick, bulbous acrylic handles eliminate finger cramping and provide a secure, comfortable hold for artists managing arthritis, hand tremors, Parkinson's, carpal tunnel, or reduced grip strength. The stiff natural boar bristles provide the necessary backbone to push thick tempera, heavy-body acrylics, and ceramic glazes across paper or canvas without the brush head collapsing under firm downward pressure.

Why Daycares, Classrooms & Adaptive Studios Choose the BK687:

• Complete Round & Flat Assortment: Combines both essential brush geometries—pointed rounds for curves and detail, and chisel flats for broad ribbons and backgrounds—into a single set.
• Stiff Natural Boar Bristles: Flagged (split) natural bristle tips hold large volumes of paint and easily move heavy-bodied tempera, school poster paint, and heavy acrylics without shedding.
• Chunky Palm-Grip Barrels: Short, thick handles fit naturally into palms or closed fists, eliminating the tipping and eye-level hazard of long traditional brushes.
• Color-Coded Translucent Handles: Brightly colored translucent acrylic handles make brush shape and size identification intuitive for classroom students.
• 100% Waterproof Solid Acrylic: Solid molded acrylic handles will never crack, swell, rot, or peel paint when soaked in rinse cups or classroom sink basins.
• Gold-Anodized Aluminum Ferrules: Heavy-duty gold-anodized ferrules are firmly crimped to lock bristles securely in place during vigorous scrubbing and painting.
