BK688 - Royal & Langnickel Big Kid's Choice Chubby Round Natural Bristle Brush Set

The Royal & Langnickel Big Kid's Choice™ Chubby Round Natural Bristle Artist Brush Set (BK688) features an assortment of short-handled, thick-barrel round brushes crafted with durable natural white hog bristle. Built with ultra-thick, brightly colored translucent acrylic handles and rust-resistant gold-anodized ferrules, these stubby round brushes are engineered specifically for early childhood classrooms, daycare centers, and beginner painting activities.

Not only for kids: While dubbed "chubby" brushes for young painters developing fine motor skills, they are equally invaluable for adult painters, senior care centers, and adaptive art therapy programs. The thick, bulbous barrel eliminates finger cramping and provides a secure, comfortable hold for artists managing severe arthritis, tremors, Parkinson's, carpal tunnel, or reduced hand dexterity. The stiff natural boar bristles provide the backbone needed to push heavy-bodied paints and tempera across paper or canvas without the brush head bending or splaying under firm pressure.

Why Daycares, Classrooms & Adaptive Studios Choose the BK688:

• Stiff Natural Boar Bristles: Flagged (split) natural bristle tips hold large amounts of paint and easily handle thick tempera, heavy acrylics, and school poster paints without shedding.
• Chunky Palm-Grip Barrels: The short, thick handles fit naturally into small hands or closed-fist grips, eliminating the tipping and eye-level hazard of long traditional brushes.
• Vibrant Translucent Handles: Features bright, color-coded acrylic handles that make brush sorting, cleaning, and classroom management simple and fun.
• Versatile Round Shapes: Perfect for lettering, circular patterns, curved linework, outline detailing, and concentrated color fills.
• 100% Waterproof Solid Acrylic: Solid molded acrylic handles will never crack, swell, rot, or peel paint when soaked in rinse cups or classroom sink basins.
• Gold-Anodized Aluminum Ferrules: Heavy-duty gold-anodized ferrules are firmly crimped to lock bristles securely in place during vigorous scrubbing and painting.
